I have an interview scheduled with for a job that pays $12.75 per hour, I would be working 40 hours a week. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what I might get taken out for taxes and health benefits in Illinois? I would like to have some kind of idea before I accept this job. I was thinking as an example, if I get paid every week that would be $510. Then I took out 25% for taxes/health/social security/etc. which came out to $127.50. So I have a total of $382.50 each week. Does that sound anywhere close to what it might be, or does 25% sound wrong?
