My credit score is poor. I use to have a secure credit card a while back that i wasn't able to pay and the account was closed. I just paid of the balance last month. I have unpaid utility bill cell phone bill and a payday loan on my credit report right now. I am looking to purchase a house in bout a year. I don't know what to do should work on paying off whats on my credit report or should i try to apply for credit? I have no credit in good standing on my report.

Dispute the neg. on your credit report. There is a method i used that helped me get a bunch of neg deleted.
